LinkDatabases on Individual Banks, Bank Holding Companies, Savings Institutions, and Credit Unions:

The National Information Center (NIC) <http://www.ffiec.gov/nicpubweb/nicweb/nichome.aspx>   provides comprehensive information on banks, bank holding companies, and other institutions (savings institutions and credit unions) for which the Federal Reserve has a supervisory, regulatory, or research interest including both domestic and foreign banking organizations operating in the U.S.  Financial information, such as financial reports and peer analyses, is available for selected time periods.  You can search for the firm's identification numbers.  If the firm is a bank holding company you will want to find the institution or its identification numbers and obtain its Bank Holding Company Performance Report.  BHC Peer Group Reports are also available under the BHC Peer Reports link.

If the firm is not a bank holding company but is a commercial bank then you will want to obtain the Uniform Bank Performance Report at http://www.ffiec.gov/ubpr.htm. Other available reports at this site include:

National, State and International Bank Regulators and Trade Associations

U.S. Federal and State Regulators: 
Federal Reserve Bank (information on Federal Reserve System, bank regulations, statistical releases; also has links to 12 Regional Federal Reserve Banks)

Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)

Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)

National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) supervises and insures federal and state-chartered credit unions. 

Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA)is the regulator and conservator of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the regulator of the 12 Federal Home Loan Banks of the Federal Home Loan (FHL) Bank System and their mission is to support residential mortgage lending by their member-stockholders, which include commercial banks, savings institutions, credit unions, and insurance companies.  

The Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) is an organization of the state regulators and provides a Directory of the State Bank Supervisors

The Florida Office of Financial Regulation, Division of Financial Institutions licenses, examines and regulates state-chartered financial institutions (commercial banks, credit unions, savings associations, non-deposit trust companies, and international bank offices) to ensure that your funds invested are protected from potential loss due to failure or insolvency. The Division of Banking offers information on the industry, as well as statements of condition and income on state-chartered financial institutions.

U.S. Trade Associations: 

American Bankers Association (includes links to state bankers associations, including the Florida Bankers Association).  

Independent Bankers Association of America (represents interests of 5,500 independent community banks and includes Community Bankers of Florida (CBF); however, CBF joined the Florida Bankers Association on January 1, 1999).  Florida thrifts are also affiliated with the Florida Bankers Association. 
Bank Administration Institute (BAI) provides training and information.

Florida International Bankers Association is another Florida banking organization.

Credit Union National Association (CUNA) represents credit unions and credit union members and the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) exclusively represents federal credit unions. The League of Southeastern Credit Unions represents credit unions in Florida and other southeastern states
