Module 8 Overview
Introduction
This week, we will examine the competencies required for balancing technical and pedagogical requirements in digital courses. Creating a facilitation strategy that keeps students curious, focused, and productive is essential as you develop your learning community. To this end, we review topics related to facilitating your online course and supporting students including options for assessing student progress and performance.
Please keep in mind that your job shifts from content creator and developer to a course instructor/facilitator as your course begins. As you will see, there is increased student interaction and engagement with course content, activities, and assessments over what occurs in a typical in-person environment.
