Purpose
You have worked hard, and now it's time to showcase your work!
The purpose of this activity is to provide you and your <Replace - Institution Name> colleagues with an opportunity to highlight specific aspects of your course design and to share your accomplishments. This Virtual Showcase will be a small-group discussion, where you can observe other designs, comment on other posts, and consider new ideas for your own future courses.
After completing <Replace - Course Title> , this online presentation gallery will remain available as a resource for you to revisit now and in the future.
Steps to Complete this Activity
Step 1: Create Your Showcase Gallery submission
- Select one of the following prompts to respond to in your discussion post.
- Option 1: Share how a specific strategy or concept (e.g., accessibility, active learning) you learned about in <Replace - Course Title> influenced one or more aspects of the course you began to develop in <Replace - Course Title> and provide supporting artifacts.
- Option 2: Share how you re-conceptualized a specific aspect of your course for this new online modality. Be sure to reference particular elements of the course that you began to develop in <Replace - Course Title> and provide supporting digital artifacts.
- Provide the following details for the course you began to develop in<Replace - Course Title> in your discussion post.
- Project Characteristics:
- The prefix/number and course title
- The modality that you are teaching
- A brief description of the course layout and design

- Describe a takeaway from your <Replace - Course Title> experience and how you believe it has influenced/may influence your online course design and facilitation journey.
- Supporting Digital Artifact(s):
- Be sure to include digital artifacts to support your showcase entry. Digital artifacts should be specific work you have created in your <Replace - Course Title> development course that showcases the option you selected above. You may also choose to include additional digital artifacts that highlight course design/material that you are particularly proud of or excited about. For example:
- Images/Screenshots from your course
- Diagrams/Outlines
- Interactive activities/Games
- PDFs/Documents
- Video Links
- Be sure to include digital artifacts to support your showcase entry. Digital artifacts should be specific work you have created in your <Replace - Course Title> development course that showcases the option you selected above. You may also choose to include additional digital artifacts that highlight course design/material that you are particularly proud of or excited about. For example:

- Please keep in mind that your showcase submission is meant to serve as a highlight of your course design based on one of the prompts above, so it does not need to be lengthy.

Step 2. Post your entry to the Virtual Showcase Gallery
Please post your showcase entry to the discussion board by Wednesday at 11:59 PM EST of Week 10.
Step 3. Review your peer's showcase submissions
We encourage you to review and respond to your peers' showcase gallery discussion posts by Friday at 11:59 PM EST of Week 10, although a response is not required. Feel free to "like" the posts from your peers by clicking on the thumbs-up icon which is below each post.
