Overview and Objectives:

In this module, you learned about various emerging technologies that can enhance your online course.  This is an opportunity to discuss how you might incorporate one or more of these emerging technologies to make your online course more engaging.  

Participants will:

  • Share ideas related to incorporating emerging technologies in their online courses.

Discussion Activities: 

  1. Identify an emerging technology that you believe would enhance an online course that you are developing or plan to develop.  How will you utilize this tool and how will this tool enhance your course?
  2. What challenges do you expect to face as you implement this emerging technology?  
  3. Have you previously used a similar tool (face-to-face or online) and what was your experience?  What would you change and why?
