         This course has been one that is very special to me. This has been my first Gifted Education course and a big learning experience for me. I have learned how to better implement and nourish creativity within my classroom and life. I have learned strategies and tools to help with making boring lessons more open and allowing for students to be creative with them as well. I learned about different ways to be creative as well as how to test individuals for creativity and how that can impact gifted placements.

         Overall, being able to help my future students more is the biggest take away for me. Knowing I can better serve my students who are gifted, my students who do like to express their creativity, and my students who do not express their creativity but want to try.

Personally for my own improvement I would have liked having Zoom calls to verbally discuss the modules and what we have learned. I think this would also help the needs of other students in the future. I feel with adding that component, positive discussions can be had to improve our learning of these topics guided by the professor. This also gives the time to explain assignments in depth and what is expected of us as students as well.

I believe I deserve an A in this course. I believe this because I completed all tasks within a timely manner before the due date and time. I completed all assignments and discussions to the best of my ability and corrected any mistakes I had made to make the assignments even better. On top of the work, I truly learned and plan to use the strategies and techniques I have learned in my classes. To me, that is the point of these courses, to be able to learn and take away positives and implement them into my class to make it the best possible for the students.

I have learned many amazing things about creativity and students who are gifted while in this course and I plan to use everything I have learned to make my class a happy and safe place for my students.

CO1- B2: In this I described five assessments that have validity and reliability for testing creative thinking. I then justified their use with gifted student identification systems. I researched the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking, the Guilford Creativity Test, the Creative Engineering Design Assessment, the Purdue Creativity Test, and the Structure of the Intellect Learning Abilities Test.

CO2- B14: For this assignment, I journaled for twenty days five creative things I did. This resulted in one hundred examples of creativity in my daily life. I journaled all things from when I woke up, to being at work, being home, and at night before bed. This led to me realizing exactly how creative I really am without knowing it.

CO3- B17: For this assignment, I used Pinterest to create five boards on the five themes and modules within our class. These boards were called: Creativity and Intelligence, The Creative Person, The Creative Process, Creative Places, Programs, and Productivity, and Valuing Creativity. Within these five boards I saved five or more photos that had to deal with these topics and commented on them. https://www.pinterest.com/sommerssamantha3434/_saved/
