Getting Ready for Your Big Project

Later in the semester, you will be asked to reach out to potential employers for an informational interview Links to an external site.. This will be the final project of the semester. Between now and then, we are preparing you with all you need to make that "ask" and secure an interview.

Assignment DUE 2/17: For now, your assignment is to research the people who are movers and shakers in your field. 

3 people who you will be reaching out to later in the semester.

Find the following possibilities for informational interviews:

• Someone in the local area that is doing the job that you would like to do
• Someone who is the "boss" of someone doing the job that you would like to do
• A big reach for someone who just might take a call from you. This would be someone in the world of your dreams, but maybe not totally unreachable. In other words, maybe not Lil Baby, but maybe yes to Chloe Moriondo???? or someone else on the up and coming or "B" list. It can't hurt to try!

USE THIS FORMAT FOR ASSIGNMENT

For each person (at least 3 people) on your list, add the following information:

1. Their name and the company they work for/with
2. The email or other means that you would use to gain access to them
3. What they are known for and why you are interested in them

Grading Credit:

For each name and all the information required about them you will get 10 points for a total of 30. You get an extra 10 points if you add a 4th person and all their information.
