Assignment DUE 2/17 : Write a list of your values, unique abilities and your experience, which will be incorporated into your resume.

This assignment will support the work you will do on your resume.

Think about what you bring to the table. Remember our lecture? 

Toolbox is a term that we use to identify the Experiences, Competence, and Personal Traits that you bring to any role you are seeking.

So, break it down for yourself:

1. Experiences: What are the jobs or experiences that you have had that showcase what you know?
2. Competence: What have you found success doing in your life? What are YOUR unique strengths?
3. Personal Traits: How do you want to make a difference? What inspires you? What values are the framework for your decision-making?
   • Note: Values can come from many different places. It's not important where you get your values, as much as that you know what they are.
4. What makes you "tick" and makes you want to push yourself to be the best YOU that you can be?

Assignment: Answer the above questions for yourself in the assignment. This requires some introspection, but will surely pay off!

How it Pays Off:

• You will be able to reference these answers for your resume and any interview or networking event you attend
• You will become familiar with and more confident in the skills "you bring to the table"
• You will be proficient at explaining why you are qualified for the position
