ATTENDANCE: Perfect attendance is assumed. Be Punctual. Class will begin on time. If you are unavoidably detained, enter quietly. Never enter during a performance or presentation! Wait until it has been completed. Attendance will be kept by means of Roll Call at the beginning of the class. If you are tardy, it is YOUR responsibility to tell the teacher at the end of class. Check the Roll Call feature in Grades to see your current Tardies and Absences.

  • Absences - Unexcused absences will count against your total attendance grade as per the guidelines of the Roll Call feature in Webcourses. You are responsible for all material and assignments presented in class. If you miss a class, it is your responsibility to acquire the information.
  • Tardy - All tardies count as 80% of an attendance for class in Roll Call.  It is much better to be tardy than to miss class altogether, you will not be considered absent no matter how late you enter the classroom, even if there is only 5 minutes left of class.
