(Chapter 8 - Cardiovascular System)

 

Important Note

This chapter continues the sections of body systems. Chapter 8 focuses on the Cardiovascular System and the terms, structures, diseases, and treatments specific to this body system. You will need to apply the knowledge from the first seven chapters including the prefixes, suffixes, and combining forms we learned in those chapters that are applicable to this system. If you feel that you need further practice in order to apply those this system, go back and review the flashcards and practice activities for those first seven chapters as well.  Remember, repetition is key and you must practice, practice, practice to be successful!

2. Describe the functional relationship between the cardiovascular system and other body systems.
3. Pronounce, spell, and build words related to the cardiovascular system.
