Module 4 Activities

(Chapter 5 - Integumentary System)

 

Important Note

This chapter begins the sections of body systems. Each chapter will focus on a specific body system and the terms, structures, diseases, and treatments specific to that body system. You will need to apply the knowledge from the first four chapters moving forward, as the prefixes, suffixes, and combining forms we learned in those chapters are applicable to many of the different systems. If you feel that you need further practice in order to apply those to each of the body systems moving forward, go back and review the flashcards and practice activities for those first four chapters each week as well.  Remember, repetition is key and you must practice, practice, practice to be successful!

1. Locate the major organs of the integumentary system and describe their structure and function.
2. Describe the functional relationship between the integumentary system and other body systems
3. Pronounce, spell, and build words related to the integumentary system.
4. Describe diseases, conditions, and procedures related to the integumentary system.
