Course Introduction
Course Introduction
As a student taking Medical Terminology, you will log on to the HSC 3537 course on a regular basis, review the information in each module and demonstrate proficiency by completing assignments.
The University of Central Florida offers courses in different modalities. This course is taught as a World Wide Web (W) course. A W course eliminates the face-to-face class time, and substitutes the class with online class activities instead. As your instructor, I am here to facilitate your learning by answering your questions and guiding you through the course to ensure your success.
I hope to create an active, supportive community during HSC 3537 and that you will learn vital information that will be with you for years to come. Keep in mind that even though we all come from different backgrounds and have different goals for employment upon graduation, Medical Terminology will be vital with all of you in the future.
Now it's time to begin!
This course is being taught using the learning management system called Instructure Canvas, and is organized in modules (units of content and assignments). If you get lost, you can always click on the Modules tab on the menu to your left and select the correct module, or click on the Weekly Content link on the home page.
