Capturing Your UTA Experience in Your Resume

Purpose

The ability to document key experiences contributing to your personal and professional development and career readiness in an effective manner will help make your resume standout. This assignment will give you the chance to practice developing action-oriented bullet points describing your UTA experience that call attention to your personal and professional development and career readiness.

Directions

1. Download The Handy Dandy Formula Template Download The Handy Dandy Formula Template (Word document). Use this template to develop the "Experiences" section of your resume as it relates to your position as a UTA. 
2. The template includes prompts identifying the information that you need to include. Be sure to complete each section. This includes composing a minimum of three bullets related to your experience as a UTA.
3. Refer to The Handy Dandy Formula Download The Handy Dandy Formula, Resume Writing Tips Download Resume Writing Tips, and the Skills and Action Verbs Download Skills and Action Verbs handouts created by UCF as you work on this assignment.
4. Save the file as a Word document.
5. Submit the assignment online in Webcourses.
