Total 115 points

Note, there are approximately 115 points available in this course after dropping 3 lowest quizzes and only 90 points are needed for an A, therefore there will be no makeup quizzes or allowances for late assignments.  To reiterate, if you miss a quiz there will not be any makeup quiz.  It is understood that there are legitimate reasons why you may miss a class including illness, internet outage, attendance at seminars and job interviews.  The extra points in this course are to allow you to earn an A even when the occasional situation occurs that causes you to miss class.  Do not request additional considerations.  Do not email me that you will be missing class.  I trust that you are making the best decision for you; you have weighed  the cost and have made the best choice given your situation.
Attendance Policy
Due to the COVID-19 virus, attendance in class is suspended.  Quizzes will be given at the discretion of the professor and may occur at any time during the lecture.  Although the lectures will be recorded the quizzes will not be available after the end of the "live" class.  You must be watching the lecture during the assigned time to be able to take the quizzes.   At the discretion of the instructor a short paper may be assigned to all students and will be weighted the same as quizzes.  Late submission of the assigned will suffer a significant late penalty.

The papers will be limited to a maximum of 1 1/2 pages and a minimum of 1 page, The student will use Arial, 12 point type, single spaced.  The papers will have a published deadline.  Papers submitted after the deadline will have 2 point deducted for each day that the paper is submitted late.

Academic Honesty
Plagiarism and cheating of any kind on an examination, quiz, or assignment will result at least in an "F" for that assignment (and may, depending on the severity of the case, lead to an "F" for the entire course) and will be subject to appropriate referral to the Office of Student Conduct for further action. See the UCF Golden Rule for further information. I will assume for this course that you will adhere to the academic creed of this University and will maintain the highest standards of academic integrity. In other words, don't cheat by giving answers to others or taking them from anyone else. I will also adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity, so please do not ask me to change (or expect me to change) your grade illegitimately or to bend or break rules for one person that will not apply to everyone.

Expectations for Course Reflection Paper Final Paper

Expectations for Course Reflection Paper Final Paper The final paper is a reflection of your major learnings this semester. Previously you have written short reflection papers on topics such as , leadership and ethics. These papers can be used in the development of this final paper; a reflective summary paper on the course. The paper is a personal reflection but addressed to the instructor. The paper begins with a detailed brief abstract of the paper written in the past tense since the abstract is "abstracted " from the paper..The Abstract would never say I will...rather it will say "This paper discusses ....."

The abstract is a maximum of 250 words but must reference the key issues addressed in the paper;

The main body of the paper should be no less than 5 typed pages and no more than 7 pages. If you choose to quote sources such as your text books make certain to use APA or other recognized style for the citations. Although you can use your previous writings this is not simply a cut and paste paper. It is an integrated paper that reflects on the entire course.

Paper Format

 Title & author page Abstract (250 words)

My “top 5” learnings from the course? (Use a bullet to identify the top learning followed by a brief statement of why this is a significant learning for you. (1 page) Consider this list as an outline of the paper.

Main Body -- How will you apply these learnings at work. This section is a narrative style explaining how the learning from ethics, creativity and leadership will affect the way in which you interact with your team. (5 - 7 pages)
