Objectives for this Module

• Students will recall the key events and individuals that shaped the Early Dynastic Period.
• Students will describe the primary evidence (i.e. historical sources/material remains) available for the Early Dynastic Period.
• Students will discuss differences that exist in different kinds of disciplinary writing, and will identify the unique traits of historical writing.
• Students will write a response paper on the nature of the sources available to evaluate the Early Dynastic Period.
