As you are probably beginning to figure out, getting into international business is going to be an important part of your career if you want to climb to the executive level.  That naturally makes one wonder how one gets into international business.  The answer to that is pretty complex and we will discuss it extensively when we talk about human resources but for now, the simple answer is you need to show both a high interest in international issues and accumulate some experience in international environments.  Study abroad is a great way to do both.
