Module 5 Overview

Introduction
This week, we will shift our focus toward technology. You may have noticed that up until this point in the course, we focused first on course design rather than on technology. A best practice in course design is to first identify the course objectives, assessments, and interactions and then select the technology tools that best support these.
In this module, we will explore technology tools to help you create and format digital content so that it is accessible. We will also explore technology tools available to you and your students at <Replace - Institution Name> and important considerations before adopting and implementing technology not supported by <Replace - Institution Name>.
Intentional Design: Student Choice
Student choice has been incorporated into the design of this module. After completing the required module readings, you will be prompted to complete a "Choose Your Own Path" activity where you will pick one or two topics you would like to explore further. Providing student choice supports Universal Design for Learning while also helping to increase student motivation and engagement with the instructional materials.
