Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to create a course map to help you plan the overall sequence and organization of your course and identify the key components, including the topics, course and module objectives, instructional materials, learning activities, and assessments. Creating a course map will help to ensure alignment between these proposed course components and your course goals.
Steps to Complete this Activity
Review
- Review the following module pages if you have not already done so:
Create
- Download the Course Map template (.docx file)
Download Course Map template (.docx file).
- Save the file to an easily accessible location on your computer or in the cloud (e.g., OneDrive).
- You may refer to the Course Design Planner section titled "Course Mapping" and the subsequent relevant sections for brainstorming and reflection questions that can provide guidance as you complete each section of your course map.

Please be sure to include the following elements in your course map before submitting:
- Course objectives
- Module titles/topics for the entire course

Identify module objectives, assessments, learning activities, and instructional materials for required IDL6543 modules: "Student Orientation Module" and 2 "Content Modules"
- Please note that you do not need to complete your entire course map at this time.
