Module 6 - Objectives

Welcome to Module 6.  The focus of this module is to continue the development of our system modeling techniques.  This module has the following objectives:

1. The student will understand what Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) is and how it is used to better understand systems.
2. The student will understand how SSM is applied to analyze a system.

The following activities are included as part of Module 6:

1. Read Boardman & Sauser, Ch 5.
2. Read about Story Telling in InsightMaker.
3. Read the SSM Additional Reading.
4. Complete the SSM Supplemental Reading & Assignment
5. If desired, complete the Extra Credit: Applying Systems Thinking onto Emergency Response Planning (due on Feb 28)
