Module 5 - Objectives

Welcome to Module 5.  The focus of this module is to familiarize the student with the concept of System Archetypes and how they can be used to understand and influence a system.

1. The student will understand and apply system archetypes.
2. The student will continue to develop system dynamics modeling skills.

The following activities are included as part of Module 5:

1. Read Boardman & Sauser, Ch 4, section 4.1.3.
2. Read Senge, Ch 6-7.
3. Read the Introduction to System Archetypes.
4. Submit Last week's Assignment - Part 1 of the Causal Loop Diagram exercise.
5. Complete Part 2 of the Causal Loop Diagram exercise.
6. Complete the "Create your Own System Archetype" exercise from Senge.
