Additional Reading: Soft Systems Methodology

The "father" of Soft Systems Methodology (SSM), Peter Checkland, provides an excellent summary of the methodology in Chapter 5 of this book:

Checkland P., Poulter J. (2020) Soft Systems Methodology. In: Reynolds M., Holwell (Retired) S. (eds) Systems Approaches to Making Change: A Practical Guide. Springer, London. https://doi-org.ezproxy.net.ucf.edu/10.1007/978-1-4471-7472-1_5

You can download the book from the library.  The chapter on SSM is over 50 pages but it contains a complete discussion of SSM with many of the diagrams and explanation found in Checkland's book:

Checkland, P., & Poulter, J. (2007). Learning for Action: A Short Definitive Account of Soft Systems Methodology, and Its Use for Practitioners, Teachers and Students.

This reading will provide a lot of useful information for your Final Project.
