- Set your aims. Establish your measures, and Select a change to focus on for your improvement project. Develop a PDSA cycle of change to implement.
When writing your aims, make sure they are SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, relevant, Time-based.

4. Begin implementing your plan to improve your problem. Remember to collect data as you go. Daily data collection is best but you could also collect the data 2-3 times per week.
