Module 11 Summary
This concludes the Week 11 module on Point of View, Emotion and Illusion in Cinema. You began the module by reading three short theoretical articles on emotion, point of view and illusion in cinema respectively. You reviewed some short takeaways from each article and discovered the connection between all three through the theoretical concept of alignment. You applied these principles of subjective narration, emotional engagement and illusion through a screening and discussion of Sarah Polley's 2012 film Stories we Tell. Finally, you proved your knowledge of Module 10 and 11 content through the completion of your final reading quiz.
