Module 9 Summary
This concludes the Week Nine Module: Subjective Camera and Research Methods for Film analysis. You began this week by learning about the final project and how the next half of the semester will lead to the development of your own creative work. This was followed by a short guide for completing research to find scholarly articles to aid in your film analyses. Then, you completed a short research assignment that represented the beginning to the development of your final project. Following this research, you read a short theoretical article on the artisanal use of the camera in films and reviewed a breakdown of important concepts from the reading. You viewed Agnes Varda's Cleo from 5 to 7 and completed a short writing assignment that related the film to the concepts we discussed. Finally, you completed a short reading quiz that proved your knowledge of module content from the past few weeks.
