Final Project Assignments

Your final project is worth 30% of your grade. However, that is split up across multiple assignments that aid in the development of your creative contribution. The final project itself is worth 15%, while the other 15% is divided up amongst the assignments below.

Analyzing Film Criticism Research Assignment (due this week)

You will complete your first final project assignment this week, which is a research assignment that asks you to find and analyze a piece of contemporary film criticism. As you progress through this week's module, you will learn research methods that will aid in the completion of your assignment. It will also help you find your two scholarly sources that are required for the final project.

Proposal with Bibliography (due March 28th )

The final project proposal, due on November 1st, asks you to complete a worksheet that proposes your final project idea. The proposal requires the development of your argument, the two films and two concepts that you will choose to analyze, your two scholarly sources and justification for your final project.

By the time you submit this assignment, you will have to commit to working on the final individually or with another classmate.
