Module 8 Summary

This concludes the Week 8 Module: Midterm Essay Exam. This week, you focused solely on the development and completion of your collection of essays. You reviewed instructions on the assignment to guide the completion of your midterm essay exam. Then, you had the option of participating in an extra credit discussion to receive feedback from your classmates. Finally, you submitted the midterm essay exam to conclude the module.

In the next module, we will transition to the development of your final project. We will review the instructions for the final project extensively as well as the many options you can take to complete it. We will overview some research methods for filmmakers, and the fundamental principles of video essay criticism. Finally, you will review ideas about point-of-view in cinema through a theoretical article and screening of Agnes Varda's Cleo from 5 to 7.
