Read: Filmish Ch. 5: Voice and Language (Pg. 105-128)

This reading will shed light on how film theorists throughout cinematic history have investigated sound design in cinema. You'll also find a great deal of films that feature a creative use of sound design or rhetorical voice. 

The chapter is from pages 105-128 in your Filmish textbook. We are skipping over chapter four for now, but you will read that next week instead.
