Welcome to Module Five: Sound Design and Movement!
This week, we'll transition from cinematic depictions of space into theories of sound design by beginning with a video essay screening. Then, you will connect the video essay to Fritz Lang's 1931 film M through a post in this week's discussion. Finally, you will prove your knowledge of module content with the completion of our second module quiz.

- Watch Fritz Lang's 1931 classic M
- Discuss your observations in a Discuss: Akira Kurosawa-Composing Movement and Fritz Lang's M
- Review the last two modules and complete Quiz 2
Assignments
By progressing through this module, you will complete these assignments:
- Participate in a Discussion on this week's module content
- Complete: Quiz #2 on content from modules 4 and 5.
These assignments are due by the end of the day Monday, February 14th at 11:59p.m.
Don't forget that the Mid-Term Essay Exam is in about three weeks. The content in these next few modules will be relatively light to accommodate completion of this assignment. By now you should be choosing your questions to respond to and writing a rough draft of your response to one of the questions.
