Paul Nichols Bio:
With a bachelor’s degree from the Florida State University School of Music and a Master’s degree in trombone performance from Northwestern University, Paul began his Disney career as a professional musician at Epcot with Future World Brass. He joined the Creative Entertainment team in 1996, and over the past 31 years has held multiple roles with Disney domestically and internationally. The scope of Paul’s experience includes production and project management roles as well as functional leadership of production, technical, design, broadcast, and music production teams.
Paul’s experience includes leading teams in the development and production of parades, stage shows, fireworks shows, conventions, competitions and special events. In addition to his work with Creative Entertainment, Paul spent 5 years as a Producer with the Disney Event Group producing retail live show entertainment in the parks and resorts. Paul was also the Producer for the Grand Opening of Hong Kong Disneyland in 2005.
As an Executive Producer with Disney Live Entertainment, Paul has extensive production and strategic planning experience with Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line and Disneyland Paris. In his current Executive Producer role, Paul is leading teams in the long-term strategic product planning and execution for live show entertainment at the Disneyland Paris resort.
