In this assignment you will write a brief vision, mission and purpose statement that is uniquely YOU.

Learning Objectives

• Identify long-term goals based on your current perspective
• Create a narrative that demands attention from others
• Clearly understand and be able to articulate your future objectives

What is V/M/P?

• Vision: Answers “What do we want to become?”
• Mission: Answers “How do we achieve the vision?”
• Purpose: Answers Our reason for existence… our Why.

Example:

Vision: I want to be able to prepare students for their future and inspire them to continue to challenge their personal interests and goals.

Mission: I will do this by exposing them to diverse speakers, by showing them ways to be introspective and seek truth, by giving them tools to help them gain access to leaders in their field and hold them accountable for delivering on the the promises they make to themselves.

Purpose: I am passionate about bringing out the best in others and helping them see their own beauty and creativity.

Assignment:
