Module #3 Introduction
Introduction
Packing for the Journey - Part I - Elevator Speeches
In this module we will begin working on the technical aspects of your career and what you will need to be successful. We will get an overview and then spend time learning about the perfect "elevator speech" for you.
Think about this as an assessment of what you already have and what you might need to get before the trip. We each bring different aspects of our experience, personality and skills. So, we will start to identify what you have to offer and what you should highlight when networking with potential employers. We call this our "TOOLBOX" and you never want to leave home without it!
This week is about learning. Give yourself time to watch and take notes on several videos. Next week you will be putting that learning to work!
