Entertainment Pathways - Part II

In this module we continue to introduce you to the big world of entertainment and how you may fit into it, and find a Pathway through and towards your goals. You will be able to see a totally different and truly authentic path that someone took to reach their goals, This will add to your understanding of the roles that are a little less known in the entertainment world.

In addition, we will begin to talk about what GRIT means and explore your thoughts about your own passion and perseverance.

Module Objectives

Add new jobs to your comprehensive list of entertainment careers.
Introduce you to someone who has built a career from nothing to performing in movies and being an acrobat coordinator for Cirque Du Soleil. Hard work and passion is the key.
Begin to understand what kind of endurance and expectation you may need for yourself to succeed in any entertainment business.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module, students will be able to:

Find more jobs that track toward your ultimate goal
Gain first hand knowledge from professionals which will guide your choices moving forward
Develop skills that will help you research avenues and people who will become resources and potentially part of your extensive Network

Research Jobs and Responsibilities (this is ongoing throughout the semester)
Look at statistics from the government regarding entertainment jobs over the years
