By researching and listing the many careers and jobs that are available in the industry you will expand your understanding and view of entertainment. Most people think they want to do one thing, when in fact there are many different entertainment related fields which will support your interests and your abilities. This will be your comprehensive guide to finding work in the future which aligns with your career goals.

THIS PROJECT WILL BE DUE: APRIL 14, 2022
You will see that some of the template has already been filled in. Traditional Theatre and Billboard Music have begun to be filled out only to give you an EXAMPLE. We are LOOKING FOR ENTERTAINMENT RELATED JOBS! This can be anything from Box Office Manager to Entertainment Lawyer, but must be within the spectrum of entertainment roles. What this means: If I were interested in an entertainment job, would I take this role to learn more about the industry? If the answer is yes, then you can add it, but if the answer is no (EX: bartender, attractions host, security, grounds keeper, animal trainer) do not put it on the list! You will not get credit for these roles.
There are a total of 150 points and a possibility of 40 additional extra credit points if you add NEW ENTERTAINMENT areas to the sheet.
Extra Credit: Each new area/tab/genre will get an additional 10 extra credit points, but you must have at least 10 roles/jobs for that tab. Currently, there are 36 different "genres" or areas. Fill in 150 NEW roles/job on the template (in any of the boxes/genres) for COMPLETE credit. If you fill in less than 150 NEW roles/jobs on the template you will receive an INCOMPLETE on the project. If you add more tabs, you will get an additional 10 points for each new tab/genre that you fill in at least ten roles/jobs for, UP TO 40 ONLY.
To be clear, 150 points for 150 new jobs added anywhere. Then another 10 points if you add 10 new jobs to a brand-new genre that you add to the sheet. For example: After you already have 150 new jobs added to the existing genre list, you add Busker and identify 10 jobs related to busking, you will get 10 additional points. You can do this for up to 4 new genres for a total of 40 extra credit points.
Technical tip: If you need to add more rows to a table to list more careers, and you are working in Microsoft word, right-click the table, Go to Insert, then Insert Rows Below. Picture example here Download Picture example here
