This has been a wonderful journey to have you in the class. Now it is time to reflect and share. Here are the recommended steps:
5 Minutes mindfulness of the breath. To promote clarity of mind, try to sit in a comfortable and silent place without interruptions. Close your eyes and focus on your natural breath and not on task-related thoughts or other ideas that might produce anxiety. This exercise serves to strengthen your ability to pay attention.
25 Minutes of course content. Go through the course content and your completed assignments and discussion. Practice deep listening/reading techniques to help you focus on the information and knowledge presented in this course.
5 Minutes meditation. Close your eyes and meditate the key knowledge you learned in this course. Try not to be distracted by thoughts extraneous to the course content.
30-60 Minutes reflective writing. Write a 2-3 page, doubled-spaced, self-reflection paper (font size 11 or 12) which highlights (a) your key take-away knowledge, skills, or competency from this course, (b) how would you apply what you have learned to your current or future work, and (c) what new things did you discover about yourself (e.g., interests, skills, abilities, etc.) ?
Submit your final writing in the Microsoft Word document or pdf file by the end of May 1st.
