There is no right or wrong answer for your design (unless it is a complete departure from the tone of the play). It is up to your imagination!
Your response should be detailed and thorough. Use as many descriptive adjectives as possible and avoid open-ended descriptions like 'warm' or 'blue.' Find better words for light like 'golden amber' or 'cobal blue.'

In addition to your written response, find and include a few images (visual research) of light to help support your descriptions. Look for paintings or photography that showcase the type of lighting you would want to see onstage. Avoid photos of other people's designs or shows, and avoid cheap stock photos showing fake computer rendered lights.
