Module Overview: Paint and Properties

Info Introduction

The flats, platforms, stairs, and other scenic pieces are built. But what now? How do they go from raw lumber, metal, and other materials to looking like the set that the scenic designer envisioned? That is where the paint and properties departments come in. These departments flesh out and complete the visual world of the scenic design through color, texture, and décor.
