Purpose

To share resources with faculty that enables them to better manage work-life integration.

Definition

Work-life integration is the process of creating the necessary space to feel fulfilled in both your professional and personal life. This process requires blending professional and personal responsibilities, rather than viewing them as two separate entities. Work-life integration is a synergistic approach between work, home, family, personal well-being, health, social activities, and community involvement.

We recognize work-life integration is not solely a faculty problem to be solved by individuals in only these roles as the nature of work continues to be a COACHE concern and the pandemic exacerbated some of the already-existing challenges. However, we hope the resources provided will serve as a source of support.
