Upon completion of Module 0 (Week 0), you should have:
- Completed the steps to gain access to FERPA training.
- Completed FERPA training, passed the FERPA quiz, and gained access to the Webcourses site for the course for which you will serve as a UTA.
- Provided input on the days of the week and times you are available to meet for HSC4813 using the Doodle Poll.
- Read the syllabi and reviewed the Webcourses sites for HSC4813 and the course for which you will serve as a UTA.
- Read the Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Guide Download Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Guide.
- Prepared for and met with the faculty supervisor for your assigned UTA course.
- Identified the roles and responsibilities you are expected to perform as a UTA and started developing a plan to execute these responsibilities successfully.

Next week marks our first face-to-face meeting. Attendance is required for all face-to-face and synchronous Zoom sessions. Your course instructor will introduce herself at this session, provide an overview of the course, and answer your questions.
You will need to complete Part 1 of the Faculty Expectations of Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Download Faculty Expectations of Undergraduate Teaching Assistant assignment and submit it online by August 30, 2021. Remember to email a copy to your faculty supervisor.
You also will need to complete the Syllabus & Course Expectations Quiz and the UTA Quiz no later than 11:59 PM on August 27, 2021, and work on other assignments that will be discussed in Module 1.
