Patient safety and documentation are the next important topics.
Chapter 7 is what I refer to as the “checklist” chapter. Here you will learn about procedures involving medication administration and how to avoid medication errors. This includes when and how documentation is required to be completed. These rules and procedures will help protect your patient, as well as you, from being involved in a medication error.
