Assignment Overview

 By completing a Mini Experiential Learning assignment, you will have the ability to earn 5 hours towards your 30-hour Experiential Learning requirement.

Submission of these assignments will be graded as complete or incomplete based on the assignment requirements below. Any submission that does not meet the requirements will be marked incomplete and will be sent back for resubmission.

 Assignment Requirements

 Watch the following videos on students' sense of belonging in classrooms.

Building a Belonging Classroom Links to an external site.

The Power of Relationships in Schools Links to an external site.

Windows and Mirrors: Learning About Difference—and Belonging—Through Books Links to an external site.

Write a one-page reflection on the videos.

Submission should be typed (Times New Roman font), double-spaced, and one page (approximately 250 words).

There is no specific rubric for this assignment. Writing should also be free of errors in grammar and conventions.

As a special note for this assignment, there are children being shown. Please maintain respectful comments and write only about the teacher or the students as a whole. Practice writing in such a way that highlights the students’ strengths.
