Module 2- Being a Reflective Educator
Being Reflective Preservice Teacher
One of the major objectives this week is to learn to be critically reflective. At this point in your educational careers, you are beginning to shift from a student to a preservice educator. We will begin this discussion with a reading. It is linked below. We will continue this work into our F2F meeting.

Updated Reflective Teacher Model
In the Gnawali (2008) reading you saw the process of reflective teaching model. Here, I have adapted it to better reflect the process of being a culturally responsive reflective teacher. You can see that the reflection cycle is not a cyclical process but one that is messy and intricate. When we reflect on our own teaching practices we must understand there is no one correct way to reflect but instead it should match the context of first our students but also on our own lived experiences.
