Instructions
Final Exam Instructions:
- This exam has a time limit of 170 minutes, including the time needed to scan and upload your work. The exam is open on Monday, May 3 between 4:00pm and 6:50pm Eastern Time. Papers submitted beyond the 6:50pm due time will incur an automatic grade deduction up to an equivalent of one letter grade. All papers must be submitted to WebCourses.
- THIS EXAM BECOMES UNAVAILABLE AT 7:10pm Eastern Time. No papers can be submitted in WebCourses after that time. Acceptance of papers after 7:10pm is at the instructor's discretion but will incur an automatic 50% grade deduction.
- This exam is set to allow two attempts. TO AVOID AN AUTOMATIC GRADE DEDUCTION, SUBMIT YOUR WORK ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT BY THE 6:50pm DUE TIME. Papers submitted after the 6:50pm due time will incur an automatic grade deduction as noted above.
- Write your answers on your own paper and scan/upload as a single PDF file to the WebCourses quiz. Preferably use blank printer paper and dark pencil/pen, but lined notebook paper is acceptable. Do not use graph paper. You may use an electronic note-taking device to write your responses. The PDF file must be legible: minimal shadows, correct orientation, pages of normal size, etc.
- SHOW ALL YOUR WORK TO RECEIVE FULL CREDIT. Answers given without sufficient work will not receive full credit.
- No outside resources are permitted. This includes computer algebra systems and similar systems on a handheld calculator. All work you submit must be your own. Do not share the exam paper with any other person.
- Neatness counts. Work that is not legible, or excessively messy, or out of order may not receive full credit.
Always circle or box or otherwise indicate your final answers.
