For this project, you will demonstrate your understanding of code syntax, variables, and substitutions through crafting an original theory-inspired Twitter bot using Tracery. Follow the directions in this module to build your bot, then use the course readings as inspiration to guide a more complex grammar. Assignments will be graded based on experimentation and play with either the language or code, depending on your own experience and interests. Focus on:
- Producing interesting theoretical sentences or phrases (5 points) - Change the wording and syntax by creating a multi-sentence, complex grammar inspired by either a particular theorist, concept, or set of readings. Use at least 10 different symbols to produce your output.
- Creating a working bot connected to Cheap Bots Done Quick (5 points) - Name your bot appropriately and make sure you have an authorized connection. If you set your bot to tweet too frequently or violate other Twitter policies, note that your bot might be flagged and deactivated.
- Adding appropriate aesthetic elements (5 points) - Change the aesthetics of your Twitter profile to match the bot and convey the content and relationship to the theory or theorist. If you have previous experience or are comfortable with this assignment, consider going further and using the challenge guidelines to add images directly to the bot output.
