Week 6 Overview

Objectives/themes for this module:

• Understand the transition from independent rule to direct British rule.
• Explore the different reactions to colonization and the different approaches to demanding independence.
• Explore the ways in which religion shaped modern South Asia and contrast this with premodern religion and politics.

• Go through  Colonization of South Asia, British Rule and WWII, and Decolonization and Independence. 
• Post in Module 6 discussion.
