Chapter 1 helps you set up your SPSS program so that your view is the same as the demonstrations in the workbook. You will want to save your settings for the use throughout the semester. Chapter 2 teaches you to analyze and interpret measures of central tendency and variation (univariate analysis). Chapter 3 will teach you to create new variables and to make changes to existing variables. You will need to save your data files on a flash drive, because you will use the variables you have created and edited in later workbook exercises. |
