This is the first assignment in this course, and it's important. Repeatedly, I have had students fail an assignment due to instances of plagiarism. Some defend their actions with an argument such as, "copying from wikipedia is not plagiarism, because it is information that is on the internet and available to everyone." While the second part of the statement is true, the first part is not -- it is plagiarism. After completing the module you should understand what is and is not plagiarism. Knowing how to avoid plagiarism will prevent you from losing points on future assignments, and might even prevent you form failing a class!

This assignment involves reading material on a website and completing a quiz on that material. Because this material is particularly important and I want you to understand it well, you will have two attempts to complete this quiz. Note that on other course quizzes you will only get only one attempt.

This assignment was created by content experts and is provided through a community library of assignments. The link below will get you to the assignment, and your score on the quiz will be transferred to the course gradebook.
